In the second of our Meet the Walker series we met up with Richard Bougeard, 52, who is taking on his 24th Island Walk on June 17th to find out just what keeps him coming back.
In the first of our Meet the Walker series we caught up with Rita Hill. There are not many people who can say they have walked round our beautiful Island 24 times but Rita is one of them. This year she will be looking to complete her 25th Island Walk and we wanted to find out what keeps motivating Rita to do it again.
For the first time ever, the 2023 TMF Island Walk will include a new inclusive section, the One TMF Challenge, to enable all islanders to be a part of this iconic event.

The Island Walk is a fantastic community event that relies on a huge team of volunteers, as well as sponsors, to ensure that everyone has a safe and fun walk and that every penny raised goes to charity.
John Armstrong is 72, and is about to undertake his 10th TMF Island Walk. John says he does it for his own personal challenge, the comradery, for the charities, and because you get to see the whole of our beautiful island. He also admits that the 48 miles are hard work, but well worth it.
The TMF Island Walk takes place in just over three weeks, but there's still time for Islanders to register and be a part of Jersey's greatest charity challenge.

Whilst you can raise funds via your personal online donation page, we are also providing all walkers with paper sponsor forms. Some walkers prefer to circulate paper forms around family and friends.
Last year, 58 staff from across Brooks Macdonald’s offices in Jersey, Guernsey, London, Edinburgh, York, Hampshire, Manchester, Hale and Leamington Spa raised £14,000 by taking on the 2017 Island Walk.
